Amidst the relentless efforts of Democratic lawmakers to release the Special Counsel Report to the public, President Trump dropped a hit piece on Saturday after he revealed that despite his executive privileges, he is yet to read the special counsel Robert Mueller’s final report which includes detailed investigation of his Campaign’s relationship with Russia.
“I have not read the Mueller Report yet, even though I have every right to do so. Only know the conclusions, and on the big one, No Collusion. Likewise, recommendations made to our great A.G. who found No Obstruction,” Trump wrote on Twitter on Saturday morning.
Since the release of the final Mueller’s Report on March 22nd and the submission of A.G. Barr’s summary to congress, Democrats have since grown more bitter and restless, setting their sights on the full unredacted report with the hopes that A.G. Barr’s Summary is tainted by political motives.
Trump has said in a tweet that the entire Mueller’s report is “a total waste of time.”
Even though Democrats in the House had demanded AG Barr provide the unredacted report by April 2nd, Barr did not meet their demands but has instead sent a letter to Congress saying he must “redact material that was presented to a grand jury, as required by law.”
In another tweet, Trump said “13 Angry Trump hating Dems (later brought to 18) given two years and $30 million, and they found No Collusion, No Obstruction. But the Democrats, no matter what we give them, will NEVER be satisfied.” Adding that as @FrankLuntz has just stated, “Enough, America has had enough. What have you accomplished. Public is fed up.”
The Russian government had aso denied any form of interference in the U.S. 2016 election, just as president Trump had branded its investigation as a “hoax and a witch hunt.”
