During the farewell ceremony of now Former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rossenstein, Attorney General Barr took the platform to mock the ‘contempt vote’ recently led by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler.
At the course of his speech, “You like records,” Barr said, referring to Rosenstein. “This must be a record of attorney general being proposed for contempt within a hundred days of taking office.” the crowd cheered.

His speech came after House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, on Wednesday, led the charge of a contempt vote against A.G Barr for not handing over all the documents related to the special counsel Robert Mueller’s report. A move he declared necessary to avoid a ‘Constitutional Crisis.’
During the Fast and Furious Scandal in the Obama administration, A.G Eric Holder was also held in contempt by the republican led house. At that time, with an assumed Democrat Attorney General, Rep. Jerry Nadler took a very different stance when he opposed the contempt charge with among other methods, the #walkout tag on twitter.
“Just joined the #walkout of the House chamber” Nadler tweeted, “to protest the shameful, politically-motivated GOP vote holding AG Holder in contempt.” 10:06 PM · Jun 28, 2012
Is this all about a constitutional crisis as Nadler said, or is this purely political?.
