Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff is whining to the media because President Trump refuses to play the impeachment game with him unless Congress formally votes to do so, as Reuters reports:
“The U.S. State Department is withholding messages from the ambassador to the European Union that are relevant to the impeachment inquiry, the chairman of the U.S. House Intelligence Committee said on Tuesday.
“Not only is the Congress being deprived of his testimony … but we are also aware that the ambassador has text messages or emails on a personal device, which had been provided to the State Department, although we have requested those from the ambassador, and the State Department is withholding those messages as well,” Adam Schiff told reporters.
After the State Dept. barred key witness Gordon Sondland from testifying Chairman Schiff says, “We’re also aware the ambassador has text messages or emails on a personal device … and the State Department is withholding those messages as well.”

Those messages are also deeply relevant to this investigation and the impeachment inquiry,” Schiff added.”
This comes as President Trump struck back at Democrat’s impeachment charade:
“The Trump administration directed Gordon Sondland, the United States ambassador to the European Union, not to appear for a scheduled deposition at the House of Representatives, the New York Times reported on Tuesday, citing two sources.
Sondland, who donated $1 million to the president’s inaugural committee, had been scheduled to meet behind closed doors Tuesday morning with staff for three House committees as part of their impeachment inquiry.”
Rep. @Jim_Jordan on White House Blocking Sondland Testimony & Documents said; “We understand the reason why the State Department decided not to have Ambassador Sondland appear today. It’s based on the unfair and partisan process that Mr. Schiff has been running.” https://t.co/R5mkW5Emkt
